The Bradby Club hosted the Warwickshire Clubs for young people AGM on October 15th. Where all affiliated clubs came to Celebrate the achievements of the young people and show our support for the advice and guidance and help that Rob and Graham give to so many of us. We celebrated the opportunities that young people had and their achievements.
One of the Bradby Club young leaders Michael O’Meara received The Mary Holbrook Rosebowl” Award:
Mary was very keen to support young people and to recognise the contribution that young people make to the community, the lives of others and to their own personal and social development. Mary was also a great believer in sports and activities as a way of achieving positive outcomes with young people and always believed that young people should be given the opportunity to engage in such activities. The award recognises the contribution young people make to their youth clubs, their communities, helping others and their commitment to engage in their youth club programme and positive activities.
WCYP wanted to recognise the ‘journey’ that young people take and they wanted them to recognise their own achievements.
