Warwickshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Seccombe showed faith and support in the work being undertaken by Bradby Club for Young People. This Month Philip provided funding through the PCC grant scheme 2018-19 to Bradby to undertake much needed one to one support as part of our targeted issue based youth work and support projects. The funds enable us to provide further intensive support and mentoring to young people with additional or complex needs.
The projects (Safer Relationships & Inclusion and Youth Support) can pick up young people who may not meet the criteria for Targeted Support for Young People filling the gap and reduce issues escalating and young lives being negatively impacted by lack of immediate support. We work with young people either already accessing the club, at risk of or excluded from education, NEET (not in education, employment or training) and at risk of becoming NEET, engaging in criminal behaviour and those at greater risk either through direct contact or referrals.
We give thanks to Philip Seccombe and his team on behalf of Bradby and its young people for their generous contributions to the ever vital work being delivered.
