The Bradby Club and Rugby Round Table have had a long relationship of support, mainly in the form of Round Table supporting Bradby. In the past this has included sports equipment, laptops and even the current flood lights that light up the Clubs pitch in the winter Months. It has been difficult for Round Table to raise funds this past 12 Months due to covid but they remain committed supporters of Bradby and the work we undertake. Recently they enjoyed an evening of football on our astro pitch in exchange for us being allowed to keep the match balls, a piece of equipment that we are always in need of. Kevin from Rugby Round Table adds “Rugby Round Table has been supporting our local community for around 85 years. We’ve seen Bradby Club develop over time to support young people from all walks of life and being able to help raise funds over the years to aid in their work. Delighted to be able to enjoy a fun evening of sport using their football five-a-side pitch and to continue helping spread the word about the work they do.
Round Table are a local group ourselves but with Tables all round the country, and indeed internationally, the idea of global community is important to us.
