Local Support for Bradby

July 6, 2018 1 Comment

A few weeks ago one of our gym windows was unfortunately smashed. Luckily for us the weather has been kind and so keeping the heat in was not an issue. Nonetheless, as a small charity when things like this happen it makes a huge dent in our reserves and we find it very difficult to recoup building and maintenance costs.

When a past Bradby member at Nationwide Windows and Doors heard about the issue, they offered to replace the glass however upon closer inspection realised that this could not be done due to the age and subsequent damage to the frame. A couple of weeks later a fitter from Nationwide turned up with a brand new frame and glass, this was swiftly fitted with no charge to the club.

A huge thank you to Nationwide Windows for this, we are so fortunate to have such great local support and we couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are only too pleased to assist an excellent organisation such as yourselves.

I am actually that 13 year old that attended the club some 40 years ago.

Well done to you all, keep the great work going
