As part of Rugby Schools 450th anniversary celebrations both Rugby School and Lawrence Sheriff school, pupils and staff have been raising money for the Bradby Club through charitable events. BWL Weightlifting Instructor
John is now a lvl 2 1st4sport weighlifting instructor after undertaking a 2 day British Weightlifting training course at the Powerbase in Loughborough. With the new skills and knowledge gained John can now instruct Bradby Gym users and ensure they have the right training program to meet their needs and goals. Bradby Gym Upgrade 2017
In August 2017 the Bradby Club and a fleet of volunteers undertook work to improve the community gym and boxing facilities at the centre. This work relied heavily on good people volunteering their time but also the contributions from local business and organisations. ABA Lvl 1 Coach
Our very own Darron Forrest underwent ABA lvl 1 Coaching course at Tamworth Boxing Club this week. Although Darron has years of fighting experience in a range of disciplines he is now accredited in coaching boxing. Spark Something Good in the Community
Staff and volunteers from Marks and Spencers on Elliots Field Have been raising money to create a community garden at the Bradby Club on an overgrown and disused part of the grounds. After raising the funds through various activities volunteers from MandS came for a day of hard work to clear and prepare the space. Rugby Group Benevolent Fund Pledges Support for Drugs Work
The Rugby Group Benevolent Fund has again pledged to support the work of Bradby's Substance Misuse Worker for a further 3 years. Pride of Rugby Awards 2017
In May 2017 the Bradby Club attended the Pride of Rugby Awards at Coombe Abbey hosted by Rugby FM, WCAVA and CEMEX. Having been nominated for Team of the Year as well as independent nominations for Darron Forrest as Long Standing Volunteer of the Year and Emily Inns for Young Achiever of the Year. New Artwork
Over the past few weeks one of our young people, Morgan - an aspiring tattoo artist - has created a new piece of artwork on the wall at the Bradby Club. Starting with a sketch on a sheet of paper, she used the clubs logo to design an image which she then copied onto the wall, and painted with the help of Brandon.
